In spring 2019, the idea of an independent award platform for cultural and social achievements in Romania was born. Initial discussions with cultural institutions and sponsors laid the foundation for the later gala.
After two years of preparation, the first gala took place in November 2021. 12 award winners from the fields of music, visual arts, and social engagement were honored. The event reached over 300 guests and received broad media coverage.
In 2023, the platform received an invitation to the European Culture Awards in Vienna. Two Romanian artists were awarded special prizes there. Since then, we have been cooperating with five other European cultural awards.

The vision of creating an independent stage for cultural and societal top performances took shape in a small Vienna office.
2020The premiere of the "Golden Pin of Honor" at Vienna City Hall laid the foundation for an annual tradition with over 400 guests and 12 award winners.
2022With the opening of a second location in Munich, we expanded our network and began presenting awards in Germany as well.
2024The launch of our online platform enabled transparent submissions and public voting for the first time – over 1,200 projects were submitted.
2025Admission to the European Cultural Award Network and the recognition of our gala by the Austrian Cultural Council marked a milestone.
